Mimi, La Boheme, Puccini
New voices in "Boheme"

A new production such as Puccini's "La Boheme" - that has a long list of performances - requires an alternating cast for the main play. At the Premiere we heard Tamar Rachum as Mimi. We still remember her very well from last year's open air performance as Saffi in the "Gypsy Baron".
She turns the lovely, little, coquettish Parisian embroiderer into a noble, consumption-free personality as well as a noble, young dramatic Soprano. She emphasizes especially the part's dramatic section with Espressivo.
An experienced singer, and exhudes confidence about her singing and performing skills.
